MQTT-Room
With the move away from legacy device trackers, it seems like my mqtt-room sensors might be deprecated. I use ESPresense to track ble signals of my family’s iPhones. Currently I have automations that trigger on the state changes to identify if a device is close to a room’s esp32, and I use device tracker see with a trigger setup on a delay to figure out if that device is approaching or moving away from an esp32. This has been working great Garage doors open, lights turn off, etc Does anyone know if the mqtt-room presence integration is on its way out? Is there any ‘modern’ way that I can use to get current and previous states of a sensor like mqtt-room Thank you

Add a HA Lovelace card for the Companion map
It would be great if the ESPresense Companion map were to be visible by all HA users (including non-admins) from the dashboard.

Allow non-admins to access the map in the Companion add-on in HA
ESPresense is great for people who misplace their keys, phones, etc. It would be helpful if less-savvy users, who don’t have admin privileges, could see on a map where ESPresense has detected their devices.

MQ135 Air Quality sensor support
Maybe adding MQ135 sensor support so that we can simultaneously measure the air quality in the room

Option to connect to device instead other way round
I’ve been trying to find the IRK of my smartwatch, a Nothing Watch Pro 2. So far no luck. At some point Google came up with ESPresense, but it looks like ESPresense needs to be connected to, which my smartwatch cannot do. Is there anyway ESPresense can initiate the connection so that the IRK can be obtained?

include battery status for beacon every x hours
I’m using also some BLE beacons with a CR2032 round cell, therefore it would be perfect to get some info of the battery status by a query which is made every x hours (e.g every four hours). If the BLE beacon is longer away than x hours, query it on first sight after x hours passed, otherwise wait until the timer is expired. Or if too complicated: just every x hours, as all beacons are usually at night in my home.

Tasmota integration
I use Tasmota with ESP32s extensively in my Home Assistant automation setup. Since I already have numerous ESP32s across my house that are already powered and connected to Home Assistant via MQTT it would be great if I could simply update them to a version of Tasmota that incorporates the ESPresense functionality.

GPIO command request
Hi, your firmware for ESP devices is fantastic, but currently it's hard for me to really use it. To use it I have to use additional ESP devices compared to all the ones I already have in my house. Very often, I use an ESP32 device only to control a light, and it is a huge waste of resources. It would be great to be able to control the relay connected to the ESP between your firmware, and to use the incoming signal together with the physical button. I tried to upload your sign on a Shelly 1 Mini Gen3, and it works perfectly, but I wish I could use the relay. I think many users would be happy to use it. Thank you for your work.
